Cartel Se Busca define el concepto de barrio como una superficie de intervención artística, permitiendo establecer un puente comunicativo entre el arte y el tejido social – cultural.

Cartel Se Busca propone una intervención urbana que rescata la trama íntima del barrio Italia extendiendo una invitación abierta a reencantarse con la vida cotidiana, a través de recorridos por una gran galería de arte al aire libre.

Mediante la implementación de 100 letreros intervenidos por 100 artistas contemporáneos chilenos en 100 lugares del barrio, se crean recorridos que revelan las tramas sociales, culturales, históricas que constituyen este barrio en particular.

De esta manera Cartel Se Busca se sitúa como una propuesta desde el terreno del arte que nos invita a recorrer, reconocer y hacerse parte de un Santiago amigable durante Noviembre del 2008.

Cartel Se Busca proposes an urban intervention that rescues the very intimate core of Italia neighborhood and extents an open invitation to charm ourselves once again with daily life, walking through a vast and open art gallery.

The use of 100 billboards that had been creatively altered by a 100 contemporary Chilean artists and then placed in 100 different locations throughout the Italia neighborhood, would create paths that reveal social, cultural and historic milestones that together had forged this particular site.

In this way, Cartel Se Busca places itself as an artistic groundbreaking proposal that invites us to navigate, acknowledge, and become an intrinsic part of a friendly Santiago during the month of November 2008.
